Hi, Iām Mo. I am an intuitive, watercolor artist based in Chandler, Arizona. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. My first introduction to art came by way of my grandmother who taught me how to knit at age 7, then taught me pottery, glass fusing, and watercolor, just to name a few. Shortly after graduating from the University of Utah with a BA in Anthropology and a minor in Art History, I moved to the Phoenix Valley.
Since 2015, I have been a student of yoga both on and off the mat. I believe a yoga practice is a way to connect with the Divine inner-self that resides in each and everyone of us. I also believe that yoga can be practiced through art or any other activity that quiets the mind.
In 2016, I was introduced to the mandala by my friend and mentor, Deb Althoff. I love the intuitive and meditative process of creating mandalas. I never start an artwork knowing how it will look in the end. For me, every mandala is about the journey and all the discoveries made along the way. Each time I create an artwork, I am practicing yoga and connecting with my divine self.
I hope my art sparks joy on your journey.
